World Engineering Day Celebration- Event RSVP

The Qatar Chapter of the Institute of Engineers, India (IEI) is hosting an event on Saturday 13th March, 2021 in association with World Federation of Engineering Organization (WFEO–CIC), to commemorate the “World Engineering Day”. In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic-related health & safety regulations and restrictions, the entire proceedings of this event shall be conducted Online.

Our observance of the World Engineering Day will be conducted across two panel discussion sessions:

Panel Session 1: “Engineering for a Healthy Planet”

Distinguished panelists will highlight the achievements of engineers and engineering, hand-in-hand with other professionals and disciplines, in our modern world and improve public understanding of how engineering and technology is central to a healthy life and sustainable development.

Panel Session 2: “Women in Leadership”

Organised by IEI Qatar Chapter’s Women’s Wing, the session will explore the importance of a prominent role for women at every table where decisions are made. The full and effective participation of women as well as their leadership is vital to universal progress.
